Mike Rohde, creator of the Sketchnotes contained in the Sketchnotes of SXSW® Interactive 2009 Tapstack app, was recently interviewed for a feature on sxsw.com. The interview provides an inside look at the process that led up to the publication of Mike's sketchnotes on the Tapstack platform.
It has been a privilege for us to have collaborated with Mike and the folks over at SXSW to get the Sketchnotes of the latest Interactive Festival on the App Store. We look forward to partnering up with them both again in the future to bring more South by Southwest Conference & Festival Sketchnote goodness to the iPhone in the not-to-distant future!

We blogged a while back about partnering up with Mike Rohde to bring his unique sketchnotes of SXSW® Interactive 2009 to the iPhone via the Tapstack platform. Although a bit of time has passed since then, we haven't stopped working on making that exciting prospect a reality.

Teenage Authors' Content lands on the App Store ∞
How easy is it to work with Six Voices to get your content on the iPhone? With our Tapstack platform, it's so easy even a 12 year old could do it! All joking aside, Six Voices is seriously proud to announce the arrival on the App Store of two Tapstack apps authored by teens!
Brooke Jeary is an 11th grade National Cheer champion. At the age of 16, Brooke wrote all the material contained in the Toned Bodies Tapstack. In a time when there are a plethora of weight loss and exercise methods on the market, the content in this app is a breath of fresh air. There are no gimmicks here, just good common sense and real-life strategies that will work regardless of your age or fitness goals. The 60 cards contained in the Friendship Tapstack are not the first time 12 year old author Paige Jeary has been published! At the age of 8, Paige wrote the book "Fun Things to Do as Kids". Network TwentyOne: 20 Years of Excellence ∞
On May 29 to 31, 2009, N21 celebrated its 20 year anniversary in Las Vegas, Nevada and gathered to honor its founders, Jim and Nancy Dornan, along with a cadre of pioneers who came alongside Jim and Nancy, from the beginning, to make Network TwentyOne a reality.
Six Voices has come alongside N21 to create an iPhone and iPod Touch App to commemorate this great milestone in the corporation's history. The Network TwentyOne App utilizes Six Voices Roll framework to feature a new video which outlines and celebrates N21's 20 years of significance. The app also contains a stack of cards highlighting Network TwentyOne's leadership from around the world and a series of useful links and information for affiliated business owners around the world.
Roll continues to find new ways to bring business and educational material to iPhones and iPod Touches around the globe!
Great Reviews and New Features ∞
We read pretty much all the reviews that our Apps get in the iTunes App Store. The satisfaction of our users and our clients is our number one priority. So getting feedback from users is a wonderful way for us to gauge how the Tapstack platform is being received by the general public. Response has been enthusiastic and very positive!
Receiving feedback also helps us to know what we need to do to continue to improve our platform's UI in the future. The one feature that users of Tapstack apps have asked us for is a way to go backward in the card deck without having to access the "card wheel" screen. We've completely taken that on board and are proud to announce that many of our apps will be receiving a free update in the next week or so (subject to the Apple approval process) that will include "double tap" to go back functionality. All our users have to do to be able to see the last card they viewed is double tap the current card. Simple and straightforward. All updates also include a new how-to card to remind you of how easy it is to use Tapstack.
We've got a bunch of updates in the pipeline for our entire Tapstack catalog, so keep checking back over the next week or so... You'll hear about them here first.
Taptsacks in Top 25 on the App Store! ∞
100 Ways to Motivate Others by Steve Chandler and Talk Less, Say More by Connie Dieken have both cracked iTunes Top 25 in the "Book" category! Both apps have only been available on the App Store for a month and are already scaling the ladder of popularity toward #1!
We're excited to see their name up in lights and look forward to seeing more Tapstacks & Roll Apps up there soon!
Marriage counseling has arrived on the iPhone and iPod Touch ∞
Barbara Bartlein has over 25 years experience of bringing rock-solid counsel to marriages and families across the United States. When Barbara agreed to come on board and have her book Why Did I Marry You Anyway form part of the Tapstack family, we at Six Voices knew it would be a winner for us and iPhone toting spouses around the world.

Over the weekend, we had our 29th and 30th Tapstacks go live in the App Store. Our catalog is growing by leaps and bounds from month to month! We are really excited about every one of the apps we've been able to get out into that great big iPhone world. Each one of our Tapstacks is full to the brim with valuable content brought to the tips of the fingers of each of our users by an extremely accessible user interface.
Congrats to Ron Fry (101 Great Answers) and Shep Hyken (Moments of Magic) for being the latest authors to join the numerous Tapstack family! Let's keep informing the world and generating interest in our products, services and books.
